Howdy! I am so happy you are here. I'm Rachel, the owner of Hendrickson Handmade.
Hendrickson Handmade started as a late night quarantine project in Austin, TX. I originally began embroidering and would stay up stitching all night long. I eventually turned on Youtube videos as I worked and those late night stitch fests turned into other explorations of crafts. I found a passion for multiple mediums: embroidery, painting and polymer clay.
When I'm not making, I'm working in higher ed! Creating has allowed me to grow as a creative thinker.
I hope you enjoy each product as much as I enjoyed making them. Each product has countless hours of experimentation behind it. Hendrickson Handmade Policies:
-Shipping:
Any United States order over $50 qualifies for free ground shipping. If you are local and wish to forgo shipping to pick up at a local market, message me on Instagram. I do my best to process and ship all earrings within 2-3 business days. Then, standard USPS shipping can take up to 5-7 business days. Please allow 24 hours for tracking to be updated. According to USPS, please allow 30 business before filing a claim of lost packages.
-Pre-Order:
Items lists the turn around time. Please keep in mind this is the time it takes to make the item, bake, sand, assemble, and properly back. Pre-Orders are made to order and can take up to a week processing before it is shipped, which may take an additional 5-7 business days. Thank you for your patience. -Care:
Polymer clay: Though polymer clay is very durable and bendable, proper care should be taken. Please do not purposefully bend your earrings. Avoid wearing them to bed or in water to keep them pristine. If you need to clean your plain non-glossed earrings, please use a soft q-tip with acetone to gently remove any makeup, stains, etc. Go in slow circles. If your earrings are painted, glossed, or has micashift; please do not use acteone as it will peel up the varnish.
Beads: Careful with the fringe! Soft massaging back and forth can help fix your dangle fringe. Always store hanging or laying flat- since beads will remember and warp if thrown around.
-Exchanges/Return:
Exchanges for damaged earrings are accepted within 15 days of purchase and are accepted on a case by case basis to ensure proper care is taken to avoid damage. Earrings naturally undergo wear and tear. To properly care for your earrings, they should be stored in a safe, dry location. Once the 15 day window closes from purchase, I am not liable for any damages that may be caused by accidentally stepped on/dropping/ etc.
Returns are accepted on a case by case basis within 15 days of purchase. Please understand that this is a small business, thus the buyer must pay for the return postage in all cases.
